Using the business impact analysis (BIA) tool, you will learn the basics of how to create an effective BCP that can help ensure your business survives the impact of a disaster. Presented by the CNA School of Risk Control Excellence.

SUBJECT: OSHA 10 Hour Construction Safety Course
DATE: Friday, May 30th 7:00 am to 5:30 pm at the Crowne Plaza Sable Park, Tampa, FL
Covers OSHA-mandated topics including an OSHA overview and how to locate specific OSHA regulations, electrical safety, fall protection, materials handling, tools & equipment, scaffolding, stairways & ladders, PPE, and HAZCOM. Attendees receive a wallet card to certifythey successfully completed the course.
COST: $135 per participant includes continental breakfast, lunch (compliments of Ritz Safety) and all course materials.
SUBJECT: Diversity in the Workplace
DATE: Wednesday, June 18th 9:00 am to 12:00 noon
Workplaces have become more diverse over the years, bringing both opportunities and challenges as they affect the operation of your business. In this session our presenter, Dr. Naomi Parker, will provide a comprehensive overview of the civil rights laws, including, but not limited to the ADA, HIPPA, and Sexual Harassment and how business owners can be better informed and prepared for the opportunities and challenges these laws present.
